Why try gluten free?

Why gluten free vs. wheat~ xoxo

I have been spending some time cleansing my life lately- cleaning out my closet and apartment- getting rid of what I no longer/ haven't used in the past few months and years; cleaning up my diet with a spring cleaning cleanse- adding more wholesome juices each week, eliminating the refined sugars in my diet, and researching some of the foods that I consume regularly.

I got an interesting email from one of my favorite Ayurvedic resources: JoyfulBelly.com (I subscribe to their email list).  I added the link above (Why gluten free vs. wheat) for anyone who would like a fresh perspective on the commonly consumed and  allergenic wheat.  I found it highly interesting due to my personal challenges with stagnation. I invite you to change up some of the wheat you commonly intake for some gluten free options if you, like me, have occasional constipation or stagnation in your body!  I hope you enjoy the article.

If there is something in your life you would like to improve, I invite you to add more whole food (food not from a box or bottle) to replace one processed food item that you typically consume each day.  If you'd like more individualized help with creating a cleanse or nutrition plan that is customized for you, feel free to contact me and I will work with you to help you optimize your life, starting with your food- it's always ok to notice where you are and begin to make improvements little by little~

Have a beautifully blessed day and happy eating!
Love, peace, and prosperity~ Cassie

Advise from a tree

I found this picture a while ago and just happened upon it again today.
This is so very inspirational to me, in many different ways.  I hope you enjoy and learn to live by the advise from a tree, just as I am learning to do the same!  Our greatest teachers are sometimes the very beings surrounding us, not necessarily in the human form that we tend to expect to see as our only teacher.
Plants offer wisdom from all ages and help us to renew our bodies, as we participate in a truly symbiotic relationship with them.  We feed them with our waste (carbon dioxide or CO2) and we recycle and breathe the waste (oxygen) they produce; each part of the relationship is of equal importance.
We could no better survive without the plants on this planet, just as they cannot survive without the animals.  I am truly grateful for the blessing of such a peaceful and nurturing relationship; physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Thank you and have a great week!  Love, peace, and prosperity~ Cassie
