This life is great. It is filled with hardships and joyful experiences alike, to be shared with others - people, critters, creepy crawly insects, plants, and microscopic organisms. We share this life with so many, yet this great life could be greater, should we choose to help and support one another, people, plants and animals alike.
It would be really nice to say that every day is filled with rainbows and butterflies, where the birds are chirping as bees move from flower to flower. While this too exists, there also exists a life where there is constant pain and agony of a very physical, mental and emotional struggle.
As human people, a species, I do not understand what brings us to tear one another down rather than choosing to be supportive of another's life path and the choices each individual makes.
There are many days and nights, more than I will say, that I have personally spent crying after feeling my own pain and suffering, physical and more, and even more that I have spent feeling the pain and suffering of others, many of whom I do not personally know yet can feel their suffering.
For me, this life is not easy, and ease does not equate to greatness. I feel my life is great because of the beings: plants, animals, and people who have supported me on this journey in this world; and also for the beings who have challenged me to consider my own voice by offering their insights of this life.
I choose to do what I do, not for the sake of ease - I do not feel I lead an easy life by any means. I struggle almost daily with strong feelings of tremendous emotional weight and choose to help others to the best of my ability within each moment to provide a sense of comfort that comes from genuine support to their life and choices.
This has been very challenging, and equally rewarding to have had the opportunity to grow from the experience of the very struggles that we all face as humans on this planet together. This is, in my opinion where evolution can take us.
We can choose to help one another, rather than being hurtful. I have yet to understand how being hurtful towards fellow life forms can be productive. It is not a sustainable practice. For those who really truly know me, and even those who don't, yes - I have made mistakes on the daily. I drive like a maniac a lot of the time, I have cut people off in traffic, among other poor decisions and choices made.
However, I consciously choose to do my very best to rise above the mental, emotional and physical struggles I face to help others in need, as I can.
I choose to do my very best in each moment, as for me, this is what living a great life is about. I believe in choosing to do my best, even on my worst day, in the most challenging of moments is what has helped to shape my life for making better choices to help further life on this planet. In choosing to live a great life, for me, means embracing the struggles daily, and embracing others in their struggle so that we may create a better world of today; for the todays and moments to come.
To all who read this, and equally to those who choose otherwise, I thank you and wish you enough.

it's in the air... can you feel it?
Taking the time to enjoy the evening, I find myself feeling the magic in the air.. it hit me like the marshmellow, fluffy textured clouds in the sky, and it is amazing!
Spending cherished moments with a group of dear souls, kin to one another, was a delightful adventure this evening. It was quite lovely to be present for all the love shared between the three brothers, connected by their adventures and mishaps, sure, but also noticing the connection shared and unspoken love for one another.
As an outsider, looking in, it was a magical experience- one to be treasured; knowing that I too have kinship as magnificent with the tribe of people I call family- related by blood, adventure, and otherwise.
Perception is a magical thing. It can pass undetected through even the thickest walls. Light as a feather, making one small adjustment in perception can cause the wall, thought by many to be untouchable and impossible to bring down, to shake, shudder, and crumble in the light cast upon it.
Imagine if there was a place deep within yourself, one you feel impossible as this unchangeable force contained within the wall.. what would it be like to allow the gentle caress of a feather to open the door of a new perception? How could that experience alter your outlook on life - would it be possible to lighten the load by imagining with this mystical, magical feather even the heaviest of burdens could feel lighter than the feather itself?
I wish you enough~

..It's about that time..
What is it that I have in mind? That time is now, yes, you've got it: right now.
The present moment is always a gift for us to unwrap and unfold as we best see fit. Even if you feel you cannot change your job, place of residence, or something of those sorts of physical things which seem impossible to modify, the beauty of now is that we have the opportunity to change our perception of these "untouchables."
The opportunity is always present, yes - pun intended, to find a better way or modify our perception in order to enhance our existence in this life. It's always the right time to make better choices or find an improved sense of the external and internal environment you are amidst in life as it unravels and reveals its truth around each bend in the road.
Exposing yourself to and being open for a new way of thinking, as easy or challenging as you choose to make it, has the potential to create massive ripples in the river of your being. Even stones, as unphased as they may be by many forces, over time as they turn over and over, washed in that, perhaps metaphorical, river are eventually smoothed over with each turn. It makes no difference whether the stone is large or small, as it is turned or bumped along the way, each new opportunity met reshapes that stone just as easily as we can reshape our reality via the thoughts we have or better yet the "bumps" in our perception of the world as it may be.
So, there it is. The time is now.
May you be open to the beauty existing in the present tense and time...
I wish you enough.

...And so it is
Living life on your own terms. This may look, sound or feel like any number of things for each individual that reads the phrase. For me, living life on my terms has been a roller coaster ride of a journey- filled with highs, lows and chugging or speeding along in between each valley and mountain on the way.
Courage is not needed. Being brave is not needed. Having support from others is not needed.
While all of these things are lovely, when present on the journey, for me life on my own terms there is only one thing needed. Love. Love from the self, for the self.
Does this mean I am selfish?
What does that mean? ...really.
For me, in loving and having compassion for who I am from the roots of my soul to how I am present, or not, in my life has been fueling my journey. We have the ability to transform our life and in the process of doing so, impacting those in near and far proximity. As a result, this in turn transforms the world. It transforms the world we live in, each and every day.
Each person, in my humble opinion, has the option of life on their terms. For some they may think it is scary to live in accordance with what makes them a unique contributor to this planet.. I have found that it is in these places that I question myself and wonder what is so scary about being me??
I haven't yet come up with a good answer to that question. When I say (to myself, of course), well, there is so much going on and so much that I am responsible for so much to do, so many things that could be better.. My reply (yes, again to myself) is the only true responsibility is representing my authentic footprint on this planet to the best of my ability.
This fills my "tank" with any courage, bravery, compassion, and support I may need in a given situation when I find myself feeling afraid- knowing that I am responsible for myself and the actions I take. When making choices, beginning with myself, using love as my guiding light, the world is not such a scary place to exist.
My life looks 100% like my own, and I am happy to continue living in this way.
It may not fit into any magazines or be recognized by the media, endorsed by public opinion as being "the right way", but none of that matters because I allow myself to be filled with love for myself, which in turn shines out to those closest to me, and onward to others whom I interact with, regardless of the near or far proximity in which they exist on this planet.
I live well, love well and am honored to do so first and foremost for myself. I find hope that this reaches and inspires the lives of others to first fully love and accept themselves- then allows that feeling of pure bliss and unencumbered peace to be filled in their presence with themselves and radiates outward to further inspire those in their proximity, near or far.
Having honor and integrity in my own life, on my own terms, has led me down many beautiful paths and has gifted me with the presence of many beautiful souls. For this I am grateful.
I wish you enough.
